TrackBoard DocuSign eSignature Integration

TrackBoard is Technovera’s internal business operations application. It uses the DocuSign eSignature REST API to create, review, send, correct, track, and securely retain electronic documents as part of Technovera’s internal business workflows.

Authorized Technovera staff initiate and manage document workflows from TrackBoard. Documents are prepared using approved business information and configured DocuSign templates. Staff can review the documents before sending them individually to the intended recipients.

Recipients receive and sign documents through DocuSign’s signing experience. External recipients do not operate the TrackBoard DocuSign integration or access Technovera’s internal application.

TrackBoard synchronizes document status using DocuSign Connect events and periodic status reconciliation. Authorized staff can monitor document progress and perform supported actions, including resending eligible documents, voiding documents, making approved corrections, and retrieving completed documents.

The integration uses OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Grant authentication with PKCE. OAuth credentials are handled server-side, and refresh tokens are encrypted when stored. TrackBoard does not expose client secrets, refresh tokens, or other integration credentials to browser users.

Completed documents are stored in private application storage and are accessible only to authenticated and authorized Technovera users. Access to document actions and sensitive information is controlled through TrackBoard’s application permissions.

Technovera support handles TrackBoard and workflow-related questions. Confirmed DocuSign platform issues are escalated by authorized Technovera administrators through the appropriate DocuSign support channel.
